The Farm Golf Links: A New Era at Crosswoods
Experience a bold new 9-hole expansion designed by Scott Hoffmann. Specifically, we welcome you to The Farm Golf Links, the highly anticipated addition to Crosswoods Golf Course in Crosslake, Minnesota. While our original Sunrise, High Noon, and Sunset nines are defined by tree-lined corridors, The Farm offers a contrasting, strategic test of golf. In fact, this layout transforms 80 acres of reclaimed agricultural land into a rugged, links-style masterpiece that brings the spirit of the Nebraska sandhills to the Northwoods.
To understand the vision behind The Farm, one only needs to look at Hoffmann’s celebrated portfolio. For instance, as the architect of The Classic at Madden’s, Hoffmann proved he could craft a world-class championship experience. Furthermore, with The Gravel Pit, he demonstrated his ability to create 'outside the box' golf focused on creativity. Consequently, at The Farm, Hoffmann blends these two worlds—leveraging championship-level strategy while utilizing a 'one-of-a-kind canvas' to create a dunes-style aesthetic that is entirely unique to the Brainerd Lakes Area.
