Crosswoods Golf Course Golf Professionals are committed to help all level of golfers; men and women - from beginners to the seasoned pros who are looking to improve their game. We offer private or group lessons, camps, and clinics during the summer months. Our practice facility includes a full driving range, putting and chipping green, practice bunker, and 9 Hole Wedge Course.
Don’t forget to ask about our new Flight Scope Launch Monitor! Whether you just want to see your stats or get a full club fitting, the Flight Scope can provide pin point accuracy and add so much value to your lesson experience.

Tim Trott — Head Golf Professional
Tim was born and raised in the Brainerd lakes area. After graduating from Brainerd High School Tim attended The San Diego Golf Academy earning his associate degree in Golf Operations and Management. After graduation Tim played on the Golden State mini tour before moving back to Minnesota to start his career as a golf professional. When not at work you can find him on the golf course with his two sons Mason and Connor. During the off season Tim enjoys pheasant hunting in South Dakota and ice fishing. Current hole-in-one tally: 20

Savannah Nelson — PGA Golf Professional
Savannah Nelson is a Crosslake Native who grew up around golf. After a successful High School Golf career at Pequot Lakes High School, she moved on to study and play golf at Concordia University, St. Paul. There, she received many athletic and academic honors while pursuing her degree in Psychology and Kinesiology. After graduation, golf was still on her brain. She joined the Professional Golf Association (PGA) in the fall of 2017, and recently earned her full Membership. Spending a few years away from Crosswoods to gain experience at Hazeltine National Golf Club and Braemar Golf Course, she is excited to be returning home and share her passion of the game with all she comes in contact with. When she is not working at the golf course, she loves spending time with the love of her life, Gunnar, and their 3 dogs.

Junior Golf Clinic
Join us for an exciting Junior Golf clinic where young golfers will dive into all aspects of the game! Over the course of two hours, participants will receive hands-on instruction in full swing techniques, chipping, putting, bunker play, and even enjoy some engaging relay games. Led by PGA professional, Savannah Nelson, this clinic offers a perfect blend of learning and fun. No need to bring clubs – we'll provide everything needed for an unforgettable golfing experience!

Unlimited Par 3 Pass
Introducing the Unlimited Par 3 Pass at Crosswoods Golf Course – the perfect way for juniors to dive into the world of golf! Youth on Course Membership

This MGA program is dedicated to ensuring all young people have access to the game, regardless of cost or circumstance. With this membership, your junior will have access to hundreds of courses, all for the small fee of $5 per round.
